23. Casting
Sarah will be the main character in this music video. She is tall and suitable with heavy makeup on which is good for the video. Also she is one of the team member which is convenience.

Our friend CJ would like to act the characters in the room do the lip sync. the reason we choose her is because of her preview acting experience, and she is close to us, so she won't be uncomfortable of works with us.
Liting will be the character 2, and she has preview experience of acting a young, lonely student in our another video. so we think she is the best one to be a part. she is also close to us, so is happy to help us.

15. How is my video going to attract my perfect audience member
Places be sets need to be consider to attracting trendies:
places can be in street with vintage shops, design office, places with graffiti on the wall, clubs, etc.
The latest in cool and Fashion is the Trendies first love:
working on attract trendies, the costumes are the importance considerations in my video. those need to be latest and stylish but not all in the same style. (casual, smart, clubs, pajama, etc all needed.)
Color wash in editing process:
need to be cool, fashion, vintage touch, even flash light in clubs.
14. Define my audience member
I used uktribes to research my perfect audience group.
Trendies is my target audience groups.
Trendies are a burgeoning Tribe with no signs of abating – and they are getting younger by the day. The high street has exploded with brands like Urban Outfitters and Topshop offering off-the-peg Hipster-influenced styles, so channeling your inner Cara Delevingne or Harry Styles has never been so easy.
Trendies are motivated by the current trends du jour, looking to street style, celebrities and authoritative media brands for inspiration on music and fashion – in short, the latest in cool. It’s about tapping into what’s hot just before it hits the mainstream and picking it up online or on the high street, with key pieces nabbed from vintage, charity shops, or the ultimate Trendie pilgrimage – shopping on Brick Lane in London.
Fashion is the Trendies first love, but music is next in line – especially picking up the latest mixes online to flaunt on social media or their blog. Online representation is huge for this Tribe – Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube and Mixcloud are the perfect platforms for showing off and being spotted. The meteoric rise of the style blogger, from 16 year old Tavi to Style Savage’s Steve Salter, has popularised Trendie icons in the media. These are everyday young people that have achieved the ultimate Trendie dream – transforming a love for fashion into lucrative careers, and gaining legions of followers in the process.
Essential dates on the Trendie calendar? Festival season is a chance for Trendies to show off their vintage meets high street inspired looks, from Bestival in the UK to Croatia’s Outlook Festival. High street designer collaborations are still coveted, you’re sure to see Trendies first in line at the next designer for H&M launch.

Do music videos make difference of a person choice of music?
It depends on hows a person views their music. I normally use youtube listen the latest music and watch it music videos. And i would click on the music videos been more views. Rather the music good of bad, i will listen to it if the video is my cup of tea and keeps my eyes on.
I did surveys with my friends about 'what make you keep you eyes on music videos?' 'what put you off?'
what keep you eyes on:
- hot people
- good storylines
- cool Ideas
- famous actors/ actresses
- depend on moods
what put you off:
- stupid dance
- sexuality but no feeling of beauty
- weird
- depressive
- depends on moods

11. Key sceen shots
By The Way - Red Hot Chilli Pepper
above are the 9 key sceen shots of By The Way.
1) It is the beginning scene, close-up shotting a road sign--from that the viewers will realise a story are happening on that road.
2) the band is playing, the back lighting, and the music from relexed jump to rock. the bak lighting making the faces can not showing clearly, that might to giving a mystery feeling.
3) story jump cut to the first story line on the road, the the band's vocal member as the main character in this story line get on a taxi, and the taxi driver recognize him, so the driver decide do some 'crazy thing'.
4) taxi driver drved the car to a wrong way- uninhabited construction plant, the shot is long shot, and we cansee the desolation there.
5) taxi driver get off the car, and begin dancing a weird dance, and the main character finaly relize something went wrong, so he text his bands' member 'help. kidnapped'.

10. Similar videos
G-Dragon- Crooked
G-Dragon is a member of a south korea boy band BigBang. this is one of the music video i really like.
I have to say, the favourite part of this video is the visual effect, at least 25 different costumes in some different style: smart, casual, club, rock, etc. Costume is the main part of Most of GD's video, as he is one of the most popular stylist in Asia.
cinematography are really simple- most of are mid shot, and close up, two kind of shot can express the costume and make-up. pan and tracking shots used when he is running or moving etc.
cross cut been used at the beginning to cross 6 different scenes showing he walking in the street. fast cut been use to show GD in different costumes.
the colour wash in this video makes the whole video looks even more cool and stylish.- bit brown to shows vintage.
we will consider to do in this stylish feeling and fast cut and straight cut been use a lot when costumes changed.
Katy Perry- The One That Got Away
This is another video inspired me.
In this video, we can see there are two stories going on and been combined together. Director use montage to telling stories of a girl in present and the past.
In the scenes of past, brown colour wash been use to show that was long time ago. if we look at the Mise-en-scene we see that where its happening and who they are. the clothes shows that they live together and makes us realize that they’re a couple.
Brown colour wash did not been use in the present scene, instead of that, is really bright.the two colours lighting shows clearly the two story not at the same time. The make-up of Katy in the present was brilliant. -as an old lady, the mise-en-scenes are grey hair and crinkled skin which show that a lot of time past by since she was with her boyfriend
we will consider to do two stories going on of a person, and make-up of the person are changed a lot to shows the times difference.
